A comparative analysis of head-loss equations under EPANET computer program and Hardy Cross iterative
method was carried out in this project. A single period analysis was performed on a three-loop network in EPANET’s
work space. Also, the network was solved with the Hardy Cross method, applying a single loop adjustment algorithm.
The frictional head-losses in each of the methods were computed using the Darcy Weisbach and Hazen Williams headloss equations. The convergence of the flow rate corrections in each of the cases was evaluated and compared. Results of
the analysis showed that the flow rate corrections converged at the 4th and 14th iteration for the two head-loss formulae in
EPANET and Hardy Cross method respectively. The results were subjected to t-test on 5% level of significance, and it
showed that there is no significant difference in the use of either of the head-loss equations for computations in each of
the methods. Thus, any one of the head-loss equations can be used for effective analysis of pipe networks.

Desktop computer system been DIY (assembled) or Branded has become sine-qua-non compare to other tools
in business organizations like banks and schools. This desktop computer requires clean electricity power to operate.
Supply of clean and un-interrupted electricity power is compulsory to keep computer running and also for maintains and
preventing of components like HDD, RAM, and other electronics components and circuitry from damage and hazard.
This gives the reasons why UPS is recommended for every desktop computer. This UPS comes as separate device
connect to power source and computer system then connect to it for power source. The focus of this research work is to
clone a PC (desktop) with in-built UPS. The work starts with case and power packs modification to accommodate the
UPS and it circuitry system and the system is clone and tested to ascertain that it achieved the research aim and
objectives.

The paper explores IT security and risk management certifications and compares them extensively to
determine the best strategies for securing organization’s information systems from unauthorized modifications and
potential damages. It uses credible websites, such as ISACA and the International Information Systems Security
Certification Consortium (ISC2) website to gather relevant information about their certifications. Furthermore, it relies
on scholarly articles published by ISACA and ISC2 to obtain relevant information regarding cybersecurity and risk
governance authorizations. With this strategy, the document evaluates each certification while listing their respective
security domains and prerequisites. In using both the ISACA and ISC2 accreditation realms, the paper correlates the
leading certifications offered by these associations. It also assesses the data results presented by these IT security
institutions to determine their value to the information system maintenance and safety. Importantly, the document
explains notable security strategies and controls that are listed in both ISACA and ISC2 credentials. With these
approaches, the paper provides ideal security measures and procedures that are in line with specific accreditation to
ensure a comprehensive safety computer system and asset protection. Subsequently, it explains important
recommendations for effective information system support and operations resulting from ISACA and ISC2 accreditations
domains.

The study presents the assessment of water quality of a recirculation aquaculture system (RAS). In this study,
a laboratory- scale recirculation aquaculture plant was designed and fabricated to reduce, recycle and reuse fish farm
wastewater. The system incorporates trickling filter as a biological treatment processes. Development of bacteria on the
trickling filter was done by continuous recirculation of highly concentrated fish farm waste water for 16 days when a
considerable mass of bacteria enough for nitrification was observed to have developed. In the experiment, two different
systems were compared: a RAS with trickling filter and a conventional open pond system. A sample of effluent from the
trickling filter was analyzed for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, dissolved oxygen, pH and total suspended solid. The result of
the analysis showed that the water parameters in RAS were within acceptable level for African catfish culture; 32.89L of
water was used up in the RAS for the 21 days culture and percentage increase in weight ranging from 17.69% - 37.05%
was observed in the RAS. This shows that the system was effective in producing required effluent quality for catfish fish
rearing.

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) have potential to improve both productivity and quality. MSEs can adapt
any change easily because of their dynamic nature. Productivity and Quality improvement programs in Medium and
Large Manufacturing Units have proved their significance. In India, MSEs play a vital role for economical growth of the
country. But micro and small industries have limited resources to implement development programs. Process
improvement principles and philosophy applicable to medium and large industries are so universal that these can be
applied with or without modification in their inherent character to Micro and Small Enterprises. The purpose of this
paper is to identify the areas of improvement in small process industry of producing Exercise Notebook by analyzing its
batch production so that productivity and quality enhancement programs can lead to financial benefits. Some tools and
techniques such as Benchmarking, Standardization, Kaizen, 5S, Lean Practices, Time-Motion study and Low cost
automation has been considered to site operational improvements in this labour intensive industry.
