This study focuses on analyzing Ho Chi Minh’s thought on foreign affairs that is a problem very important in Ho Chi Minh’s thought. This study indicated that it was Ho Chi Minh’s flexible but sharp foreign policy that helped the state Democratic Republic of Vietnam, which was born after 1945 maintained its was independence and enlist the help of allied nations and peace-loving forces in the world. This study shows that this thought has great significance for Vietnam’s foreign policy today. That thought has become a valuable lesson for Vietnam when participating in international foreign affairs in the period of globalization of international economic integration.

This study focuses on analyzing the issue of the happiness of human in the “Principles of Philosophy of the Future” of Ludwig Feuerbach. This study shows that, the viewpoint of people in the history of philosophy has not yet accurately assessed the basis and origin of people, and has not granted them their basic rights such as being respected, appreciated. Inheriting the progressive views of French Materialism in the eighteenth century and the philosophy of French Enlightenment, Ludwig Feuerbach has made progressive views about the role and respect for people in the work Principles of Philosophy of the Future.

This study focuses on analyzing the relationship between economic development and environmental issues. This study shows that, in the process of economic development, due to increasing production capacity, exploitation of mineral resources, many toxic emissions have been discharged into the environment, many large cities of Vietnam have been polluted heavy. Based on that situation, the study proposes a solution to reduce environmental pollution in the process of economic development in Vietnam.

Exploring Writing Instruction in New Media Communication Context from the Perspectives of Multiliteracies Framework

The study designs procedures of EFL writing instruction from the perspective of multiliteracies framework. It provides details of the application of four phases of mulitiliteracies approach. Findings from the follow-up interview showed students’ positive attitude towards this new model of instruction. They demonstrated an active engagement in the learning process and became more responsible for the cooperative multimodal composing task. The multiliteracies approach provides students with experiences of constructing meanings via multiple semiotic resources, which is rewarding for enhancing their multiliteracies competence in authentic communications.

The Impact of the Social Media on the Academic Performance of Secondary School Students in Benin Metropolis

Social media have changed the way people interact and communicate in the world today. This study examines the impact of the social media on the academic Performance of Secondary School Students in Benin Metropolis of Edo State. The descriptive survey method was adopted, the population comprises of all senior secondary school students in Benin Metropolis. Five hundred and seventy five students from twenty three public secondary schools in Benin Metropolis were randomly sampled. The questionnaire was the instrument of data collection. The data were analyzed using frequency counts, mean and standard deviation. The hypotheses were tested using the independent sample t -test. Finding shows amongst others that the secondary school students have access to social media and spend at least five hours daily; and that their exposure to social media is to a high degree. Their exposure to social media has effect on the students’ academic performance positively and that there are dangers in the exposure of secondary school students to the social media. To this end, the study recommends that students should be enlightened to pay minimal attention to social media and use it more for academic activities.
