Ectodermal dysplasia (ED) is a rare hereditary disease characterized by a
congenital dysplasia of several structures of ectodermal origin. Common
manifestations include defective hair follicles and eyebrows and deficiency of sweat
glands. Intraorally, anodontia, hypodontia or oligodontia are the most common
findings. We report the case of a four-year-old girl who was referred to the pediatric
dentistry department of hospital la Rabta (Tunisia) and exhibited many of the dental
manifestations of ED as well as general abnormalities. Our early oral rehabilitation
was launched to improve oral functions and esthetics by including the fabrication of
two removable prostheses and acid-etched composite resin restorations. The patient
reported a good adaptation of the conventional dental removable prosthesis and
parents were satisfied with the treatment.

The aimed of this work, was improved the stability of the chitosanase enzyme by immobilization with different natural carriers to enhance the economic of industrial biocatalytic process. It was used in preparation of biological active chitooligosaccharides. Pepper chitosanase extracted from (Capsiuum annuum) leaves was immobilized by four different immobilization methods with chitosan, DEAE-cellulose and sodium alginate. The resulted immobilized chitosanases were compared with respect to their immobilization efficiency, reusability and storage stability. Immobilization of chitosanase improved their enzymatic activity. They were 105, 83.8 and 65.2 U/g for immobilized chitosanase with entrapment, covalent and ionic binding methods, respectively. Immobilized chitosanase by covalent and ionic binding exhibited good reusability more than by entrapment method. Generally, the immobilized chitosanases showed better storage stability than that of the free one. The amount chitooligosaccharides produced by using immobilized chitosanase by ionic binding, covalent binding and entrapment methods was higher than that by adsorption method and also more than produced by free one. From a economical point of view, good reusability and storage stability are of the most important feature for the industrial application as biocatalytic.

First Industrial Revolution and Second Industrial Revolution: Technological Differences and the Differences in Banking and Financing of the Firms
Harshit Agarwal, Rashi Agarwal

10.21276/sjhss.2017.2.11.7
The industrial revolution is explained in many different ways. It is
explained as a rapid growth of the manufacturing industry, it is explained as the
structural shift in the economy, the shift in which large population moved away
from agriculture sector to the mining and manufacturing sector between mideighteenth and mid-nineteenth centuries. One other explanation is that industrial
revolution is something where there was a continuous advancement in the national
income. There were two industrial revolutions, first industrial revolution stayed
from late eighteenth century to early nineteenth century. Then after 1825, the pace
of the path-breaking inventions slowed down which marked the end of the first
industrial revolution. The major technological developments again picked up in the
late nineteenth century which led to the second industrial revolution. In this paper,
major technological differences and differences in terms of banking and financing
of firms between first and second industrial revolution were analyzed. It was
concluded that technological developments like the invention of power loom and
stream engine and improvement in the technology of iron making became the
major reason behind the first industrial revolution. Technological developments in
the industries of gas lightning, chemicals, glass making, transport machine and the
paper machine played a major role the second industrial revolution. During the first
industrial revolution increase in the number of country banks, the increased
network of the joint and country banks and the coming of Bill-workers changed the
banking and financing of firms. During second industrial revolution emergence of
clearing banks and cheques, declining of bills and the institutions in which people
could deposit their savings emerged which revolutionized the banking and
financing of firms.

Abstract: We describe the first and rare case report of a cryptogenic organizing pneumonia (COP) in a seventh decade diabetic and hypertensive women from low highlands, Jazan, Saudi Arabia. The evidence of the clinical scenario, laboratories testing , radiological images findings followed by treatment with steroid is quite enough to diagnose COP, irrespective of lung tissue biopsy procedures and processing accessibility for histopathology, in a timely manner as reveals in Yahya Al-FIFI’s diagnostic criteria for cryptogenic organizing pneumonia (COP) without a lung tissue histopathology. We started a methylprednisolone forty milligram intravenously every eight hourly for seven days which is showing a dramatic clinical improvement within initial twenty-four hours of first seven days and complete recovery clinically and radiologically, at the end of the following fourteen days of tapering prednisolone doses without a relapse for seven months. Our successful experience approach in this case of COP has several advantages include that an early diagnosis and introduction of methylprednisolone may lead to preserve lung function, avoidance of biopsies procedure complications, may prevent relapses, early hospital discharge, improve the morbidity, mortality and the quality of life of the patient. So, we conclude these clinical, laboratories testing, and radiological findings are quite enough to diagnosing and treating with methylprednisolone to rescue patient life, when a lung biopsy performance accessibility or feasibility is obscured or delayed. We observe that beta-lactam; ceftriaxone and piperacillin/tazobactam, glycopeptide; vancomycin and macrolide; clarithromycin antibiotics are not effective in our patient COP case scenario. “Yahya Al-FIFI’s diagnostic criteria for cryptogenic organizing pneumonia (COP) without a lung tissue histopathology is easy and sufficient enough to assess physician to diagnose COP in acceptable time frame and may have favorable outcome over all.

evident, in which they successfully achieve the educational objectives and targets
that have been established with the involvement of school committees and
stakeholders. The conclusion of this study is that the minimum level of community
participation at schools seems to be the result of unclear procedures of school
committee recruitment. In most cases, the members of school committees are on
the basis of familiarity and popularity. In addition, poor communication between
school committees and school as well as unclear roles and responsibility contribute
to the low level of community participation in education.

Herbal combinations when used together may sometimes produce enhanced, same or diminished effect. As a result, herb combinations used in the management of diabetes mellitus need to be thoroughly investigated to provide the best effect in reducing the major underlying cause (hyperglycemia) of the disease. Aqueous extracts of Gymnema sylvestre (GS) and Combretum micranthum (CM) leaves were subjected to solvent-solvent partitioning along different polarities. The best fractions (methanol) in terms of in vivo fasting blood glucose (FBG) in alloxan-diabetic mice were subjected to column chromatography and preparative-TLC to obtain sub-fractions and sub-sub-fractions respectively. Sub-fractions D and G for GS and CM respectively gave the best reduction in FBG in vivo while sub-sub-fractions D4 and G4 yielded highest percentage reduction in FBG in alloxan-diabetic mice. The probable mode of action of the phenolic compounds identified by UHPLC-QTOF-MS/MS in both plants could be by inhibiting activities of α-amylase and α-glucosidase. At a dose of 10 mg/kg body weight, a 1:1 combination of GS-D4 and CM-G4 sub-sub-fractions, containing mainly phenolic compounds, significantly (P < 0.05) reduced FBG to 58.25±7.54% in 2 hours and 69.11±6.78% in 4 hours in a synergistic manner.
