In order to discover the function of brain memory, the network is one of the ways to display the memory
function. With network, the memory can be demonstrated by node or edge with structural analysis and functional
discovery combing with imaging data. The results implied that the memory structure is a network and is also a network
in functional analysis. Among them, neural network is a useful tool to study the function of memory. Except that,
computational model is another way to display memory structure and function.

In order to realize the sharing of medical data and solve the current situation of excessive medical treatment
and waste of resources between patients and medical institutions, medical information interface engine is used to set up
different levels of middleware interface. According to the international standard of medical information, the data format
is defined, and the management, sharing and transmission of medical data are realized by using middleware software
technology.

This work presents the fundamentals and application of transient model-based leak detection and localization
technique for crude oil pipelines. The dynamic parameters involved in this model such as pressure, flow and temperature
were acquired by SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. The characteristic changes in the flowmechanics and thermodynamics along a given length of pipeline were used in detecting, localizing and determining the
flow rate of the leak. Measurement of pressure, temperature and flow data at both the inlet and outlet of the pipeline were
used in formulating the equations obtained from the inconsistency in the continuity and law of conservation of
momentum equations. This model located a leak incident in a horizontal pipeline of length 2000m and diameter 0.3556m
carrying Nigeria bonny light crude oil from the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company Limited, Olomoro flowstation into UPS (Ughelli Pump Station) truck line. But the leak located by the model at 1088.12m from the inlet is
11.88m behind the actual leak position of 1100m as discovered during the pipeline leak remedial works.

Vegetable oils are basically of fatty acids and the amount present can affect the properties of the resulting
biodiesel. The aim of this study is to investigate how the transesterification affects the fatty acid profile of the resulting
biodiesel produced. Seven vegetable oil types were selected for the study. They were transesterified and blended with
diesel and the fatty acid profiles determined by method of gas chromatography. The results obtained shows that fatty acid
profile of vegetable oils changes slightly after transesterification and mostly constant with blending.
