This research aims to determine empirically the relationship between exchange rate (USD/IDR), interest rate, inflation and growth gross domestic product with Indonesian Composite Index in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research uses data from the official website of Bank Indonesia and Yahoo! Finance in 2008-2018. The analysis technique using VECM method. This research using analysis program Eviews 9. Before the test, data is transformed into natural logarithms.

Organizational Core Issues and Strategy Implementation in Public Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria

This study focused on organizational core issues and strategic implementation in public tertiary institutions in Nigeria. A survey research design was adopted with mixed instruments of questionnaire and interview; primary data were gathered through the administration of 94 copies of the questionnaire instrument combined with in-depth interviews with 6 administrators of the studied organizations; purposive sampling was used for data collection. Descriptive analytical tools were used to analyze data profile. Inferential statistics, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to test research hypothesis. The results revealed that the application of strategic management by these institutions is still at its infancy. The study also revealed that organizational issues, namely leadership (Beta=.301, t=3.071, p<0.05) organizational structure (Beta=.213, t=2.766, p<0.05), organizational culture (Beta=.323, t=3.845, p<0.05) and resource allocation (Beta=.233, t=2.427, p<0.05) had significant positive influence on strategic implementation in public tertiary institutions in Nigeria. It was recommended that managements of public tertiary institutions in Nigeria should benchmark the strategic management practices of their peers in the developed economy in guiding their administration; that the capacity of administrators of these institutions be strengthened through relevant exposure and training in strategic management; that in view of the significant positive influence of organizational issues on strategic implementation, these variables should be properly managed to achieve comparative advantage.

The accounting fraudulent tendency has developed in various countries, including in Indonesia with the corruption perception index in 2017 ranked 96 out of 180 countries in the world. This study aims to examine whether the influence of internal audit quality, job satisfaction, Asimetric Information, Good Corporate Governance towards accounting fraudulent tendency. The population in this study consisted of bank employees at BTN KC, BNI KC, BRI Syariah KC and BCA KCP in Tangerang. The sampling method used is simple random sampling. The data type used is primary data obtained from the results of the questionnaire answers by the sample. Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) path modeling method is used as an analysis method. The results of this study indicate that internal audit quality has a negative influence on accounting fraudulent tendency. The relationship between the Internal Audit Quality variable and Accounting Fraudulent Tendency is equal to -0.353 with a T-statistic value of 2.827> 1.98, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Job satisfaction has a negative influence on accounting fraudulent tendency. The relationship between Job Satisfaction variable and Accounting Fraudulent Tendency is equal to -0.519 with a T-statistic value of 3.489> 1.98, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Asimetric Information has no influence on accounting fraudulent tendency. the relationship between Asymmetric Information variable and Accounting Fraudulent Tendency is equal to 0.163 with a T-statistic value of 1.477 <1.98, Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected.
Good Corporate Governance has no influence on accounting fraudulent tendency. The relationship between Good Governance variables and Accounting Fraudulent Tendency is equal to 0.040 with a T-statistic value of 0.468<1.98, Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected.

The Analysis of Character Education Policy at State of Madrasah Aliyah Jambi Indonesia

The purpose of this study was aimed at analysing national education policy on the implementation of character education which contains preparing madrasah, implementing policy, basic policy, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. The research approach applied descriptive qualitative by collecting data through observations, interviews, and documentation. It was conducted at the State of Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) in Jambi Province. The research subjects consisted of madrasah principal, the vice of the curriculum, teachers, and students. This study revealed that 1) the potential of madrasah including environmental excellence, and evaluation shows the number of hours of learning and adaptive teachers. 2) Implementation of character education policies in madrasah through the learning of character values into learning programs, madrasah programs, and madrasah culture. 3) The basis for the government issuing a national policy on character education is the mandate of the 1945 Constitution, the 2003 National Education System Law, RAN 2010-2014, RPJP 2005 -2025, PP No. 87 of 2017, Ministry regulation No. 20 of 2018, addresses the 8th Nawacita (9 Jokowi-JK priority agenda) by the mental Revolution. 4) Changing in bureaucracy, changes in curriculum content, teacher understanding, and focus are still on cognitive, but community typology is not yet developed, and training is still inefficient. It can be concluded that the character education policy in The State Madrasah Aliyah Jambi Province has been implemented and has not maximally utilized the human resources that become uswatun khasanah figures and provides assistance for learning that supports character education in madrasah.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of ISO 38200:2018 to business competitiveness for wood industries. This research was conducted in several companies that use woods in central java of Indonesia with 163 respondents of companies that have plan to implement the ISO 38200:2018. The research background is due to lack of research on the benefits of ISO 38200:2018 in wood companies in Central Java Province of Indonesia. The data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires on september until october 2019 and analyzing data processing use Structural Equation Model (SEM) and software Linear Structural Model (LISREL) version 8.70. The results show that the implementation of ISO 38200:2018 has significantly influenced business competitiveness such as increase customer satisfaction index, increase sales, increase productivity and safety and employee satisfaction.

For any economy to experience speedy and rapid growth, a viable and effective insurance industry is required. So, it is important for insurance business within the financial institution to be given priority by the government if vibrant and robust economic growth is expected. Hence, this study investigated the effect of life insurance business’s income on the economic growth of Nigeria. Using secondary data sourced from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Statistical Bulletin and Nigeria Insurers Digest, from the period of 1990 to 2017, the study adopted the Pearson correlation analysis (ordinary) and ordinary least square (OLS) regression technique to analyze the data and test the study’s hypotheses respectively. The findings show that exchange rate, foreign direct investment, and life insurance business have really impacted and influenced the growth of Nigeria economy within the period under investigation. But, the study reveals that inflation rate has negative relationship with economic growth of the country.

Various researchers have discussed about the styles of leaderships and their ways of communication within the organization among various levels of professionals. This study intent to define the successful style of leadership that is suitable for educational institutions and the type of communication required for the success of the Higher Education institutions. Education though not a business is very competitive today. If there is no proper communication among the three levels of the Management, the success of the institution is debatable. The paper aims to design the dimensions of communication starting with the Top level - Principal/College head, Middle Level - Department head/Chairperson and Bottom level - Faculty members (Professors/Associate Professors/Assistant Professors/Lecturers). Though there are many people above in the Management like CEO/GM/Correspondent and End receivers’ who are the most important stakeholders: Students. But the study focuses only on above mentioned 3 levels as there is huge need to communicate most of the time, among themselves as a team. This study is has identified these three levels of employees in educational institutions as Scholars, who directly contribute to the success of the institution. The objective of the study is to develop suitable leadership style and communication system that can develop trust among the scholars. It is essential for institutions that are evolving and changing for various reasons such as Vision 2030, Accreditation, Competitiveness and achieving global standards.

This study examined the effect of supervision on employee productivity in the transport industry in Benue State, Nigeria with focus on Benue Links Nigeria Limited, Makurdi. The study specifically examined the effect of authoritarian supervision, companionable supervision and synergistic supervision on employee productivity in Benue Links Nigeria Limited, Makurdi. Three hypotheses were formulated in line with the objectives. The study used a population of 202 staff of the company and a census sampling technique was adopted for the study. The study adopted a survey research design and questionnaire was employed as the instrument of data collection. Multiple regression analysis was used for data analysis and test of formulated hypotheses using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS version 21). Findings of the study revealed that there is significant effect of authoritarian supervision on employee productivity in Benue Links Nigeria Limited, Makurdi. The study also indicated that companionable supervision and synergistic supervision have positive significant effect on employee productivity in Benue Links Nigeria Limited, Makurdi. The study concluded that supervision is indispensable in achieving quality and timely service delivery in the transport sector. It recommended amongst others that employees of Benue Links Nigeria Limited and other transport companies should be intimated of the necessity of supervision so that they avail themselves the benefits of supervision in improving their productivity and supervisors in the road transport industry should not be interested in finding faults of employees but more importantly, dialogue with employees to identify their strengths and weaknesses in order to improve on their professional knowledge, skills and experiences.

Entrepreneurship in Mexico is a trigger for the national economy, universities seek to generate the conditions so that their students have the necessary preparation and are able to start a company, generate jobs and participate in the generation of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country. However, not only does academic training generate the platform for the development of companies, but they interfere with a series of circumstances that arise in this research. The present study seeks to determine the conditions that are presented in university students to undertake, their characteristics and how they perceive the benefits for that process. It is important to note that 60% of students of all levels are willing to start a business and agrees that the same percentage has a history of entrepreneurship in their family, for this reason it can be considered that the family is an important influence on the choice career in business areas; passion is another aspect that is present in entrepreneurial students and the type of business they seek to generate is innovative. As for the benefits that are visualized as entrepreneurs, economic freedom stands out and being their own boss. To start a business, they consider that financing issues are the most important, followed by training and professional preparation.
