Youth empowerment is one of the major concerns of Nigerian government like any other developing countries
all over the world. It is the reasons why it needs to encourage its youths to be engaged in entrepreneurial activities with
the ultimate objective of becoming self-employed and self-reliant. Similarly in Nigeria, the government has introduced
several policies aimed at eradicating poverty by encouraging self-employment among youths. One of such policies is the
introduction of entrepreneurship education into the curriculum of higher education which is aimed at promoting and
inculcating entrepreneurship amongst the students of higher learning. Hence, this study aims at investigating the
relationship between entrepreneurial orientation (EO), entrepreneurial education (EE) and entrepreneurial intention (EI)
among undergraduate students at Nigerian Universities. A total of 74 valid questionnaires from the students were used
and the study find out that, both EO and EE has direct positive relationship with EI. The study also has both theoretical
and practical contributions. Finally, the study suggests direction for future research.

Dengue infection is a serious global public health problem, and the dengue viruses are widely distributed
throughout the tropical and subtropical areas of the world. In the Indian subcontinent, the epidemiology of dengue fever
has been very complex. High prevalence rate in our region particularly in pre-monsoon and monsoon season is alarming
and necessitates early and accurate diagnosis of dengue virus infection to prevent its complications and further
morbidity. Now-a-days detection by rapid tests offers an even faster route to a presumptive dengue diagnosis. Hence, this
study aims to assess the agreement between the rapid immune-chromatographic card test (RICT) for dengue and antibody
capture ELISA, the latter being used as gold standard. A prospective study was conducted from July to November 2014
and July to November 2015 in a secondary care hospital. Probable dengue cases were diagnosed as per the WHO criteria
and RICT and ELISA were conducted on the same serum samples for the detection of NS1 antigen and IgM & IgG
antibodies. The results were analyzed. The sensitivities of RICT for NS1antigen and IgM & IgG antibodies were 100%,
89.6% and 81.3%, respectively and all showed 100% specificity. In the present study, the accuracy parameters were
comparable with ELISA. Also, RICT met the WHO ASSURED criteria, hence this study recommends introduction of
RICT in all levels of health care system for an early and accurate diagnosis and confirmation of the clinical suspicion of
dengue.

10.21276/sjbms.2017.2.3.1
This paper focuses on comparative analysis of fuzzy entropic economic order quantity model in presence of
flexible ordering cost in finite planning horizon. The objective of this fuzzy model is to optimize the net profit so as to
determine the entropic order quantity, the number of replenishment cycle and flexible ordering cost. After testing
optimality and concavity of the net profit function it is compared with other different models through suitable numerical
examples which show that an appropriate optimal fuzzy entropic paradigm may benefit the manufacturer. Hence, this
paper shows a numerical example which elucidates the impact of entropy, flexible ordering cost and fuzzy. Finally,
sensitivity analyses and ANOVA testing of the present model are presented to validate the effectiveness and sensitivity
of the different parameters with respect to the fuzzy net profit of the proposed new fuzzy model. The proposed
mathematical model has demonstrated how this fuzzy approach to decision making can achieve a global optimum and
outperform the traditional models.

A comparative analysis of head-loss equations under EPANET computer program and Hardy Cross iterative
method was carried out in this project. A single period analysis was performed on a three-loop network in EPANET’s
work space. Also, the network was solved with the Hardy Cross method, applying a single loop adjustment algorithm.
The frictional head-losses in each of the methods were computed using the Darcy Weisbach and Hazen Williams headloss equations. The convergence of the flow rate corrections in each of the cases was evaluated and compared. Results of
the analysis showed that the flow rate corrections converged at the 4th and 14th iteration for the two head-loss formulae in
EPANET and Hardy Cross method respectively. The results were subjected to t-test on 5% level of significance, and it
showed that there is no significant difference in the use of either of the head-loss equations for computations in each of
the methods. Thus, any one of the head-loss equations can be used for effective analysis of pipe networks.

Page no Sch. Bull.; 2017, 3(3): 75-82 |
10.21276/sb.2017.3.3.1
Abstract: The concept of Africanity traverses many decades, being a socio-political ethos or cogitation perceived as manifest reaction against slavery and colonization. As a resistance mode, imbuement of the Africanity philosophy has shaped people of African descent in the Diaspora and many post-slavery generations all over the world in maintaining their African roots identity. This paper examines the concept of Africanity in the 21st Century Africa, using the Nigerian popular music scene as a paradigm. Against the backdrop of the present mainstream Hip hop music style referred to as ‘Afro hip hop’, the study will use music and video analytical procedures with the objective of identifying the various media through which hip hop artistes project their Africanity. It is quite evident that music artistes still strive to maintain their African identity despite subscribing to a Western originated music style. This is made manifest through language use, nomenclature, message, visual projection, and sonic arrangement among other parameters.

The occurrence of monoclonal gammopathy of undeterminate significance (MGUS) in an autoimmune disease
such as systemic lupus is not common but it is not as rare as the occurrence of a malignant disease such as Multiple
myeloma. The complexity of this association lies in the challenges of monitoring MGUS’s patients who are likely to
progress towards malignant hemopathy. Some risk factors for this progression have been described (rate of monoclonal
compound, paraprotein isotype, medullary plasmacytosis or even light chains). However, none of these factors taken
independently allows us to correctly categorize patients. Scores combining several of these factors have been proposed to
define groups of patients with different evolving risks. The aim of this work is to report this association (systemic lupus
and MGUS) in a 52 year old woman, in order to alert the clinicians about this eventuality when monitoring their lupus
patients.
