This study aimed to detect aspects associated with ex-pat nurse job satisfaction in King Khalid General Hospital in Hafer AL Batin City in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia A descriptive cross-sectional method for utilized to evaluate the relationship between the Job satisfaction variables among ex-pat nurses in King Khalid General Hospital. 53 nurses participants in this survey. The majority of respondents were male and they paid fairly for their work the supervisor as competent has the highest number of respondents more than half feel they get an adequate level of recognition when they do a good job the positive team dynamic has the highest number of participants and that can significantly improve job satisfaction.

Background: Realizing the advantages of lifestyle modification after myocardial infarction (MI) requires active lifestyle change. Sometimes patients find it difficult to follow the recommendations for lifestyle changes, which are crucial for all MI patients to implement in order to lower the risk of secondary attack. This study aimed to explore the real-world experiences of post MI patients who had changed their lifestyles at a university hospital. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted among 20 purposively selected post MI patients. The patients who had confirmed medical diagnosis as old MI, had admitted in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital for more than a week, and had willingness to take participation in this study, were considered as the study subjects. Data was collected through an open ended semi-structured questionnaire by face to face interview. Using qualitative content analysis, the interview transcripts were examined at the same time as the data was being gathered. Results: Out of 20 study subjects, 55% were male and 60% were Muslim. Participants age was ranging from 36-70 years. Two themes namely adjustment with modified life and mal-adjustment with normal life were emerged as the lived experiences on lifestyle modification of patients with old Myocardial Infarction. Conclusion: It is concluded that patients with post-MI can have both good and bad experiences during the period of lifestyle modification.

A quantitative evaluative research approach was used for this study. The conceptual framework used for this study was Modified Ludwig and Bertalanffy, general system theory. Random sampling technique was used to select the antenatal mother. Structured questionnaire was used to collect demographic data and Pretest and posttest pain assessment was done by using numeric pain rating scale. The discussion of the present study is based on the findings obtained from descriptive and inferential statistical analysis of collected data."

Bronchial Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of respiratory airways that affects loads of children worldwide. It is characterized by tightening of respiratory airways, making it hard to breathe. There is no curing treatment for asthma, but its management using medication and routine modifications can be achieved. The use of online information for bronchial asthma control was recently introduced and markedly being an emergent trend of parents to manage their asthmatic children. This research discovers the probable advantages and disadvantages of using online health information for asthma management in children. This work found that online health data can be a significant resource for parents of asthmatic children. It can offer correct information about the status of the patient, therapy choices, and lifestyle modifications that can aid to control manifestations. Online health data can also support parents' connection with other parents of asthmatic children and to discover support groups. However, the study also detected that there are some disadvantages related to the use of online health information in asthma pediatric patients. Parents may be exposed to incorrect or confusing data, and they may not be able to discriminate between dependable and untrustworthy sources. Moreover, parents may depend on online information and disregard consulting with their child's physician. Generally, this work proposes that online health data can be a useful method for parents of children with asthma. Though, it is vital to use this information in a wise way and keep consulting child's physician before choosing to make any modifications to a child's treatment strategy.

Background: Urinary Tract Infections are a serious health problem affecting millions of people each year. Catheter associated urinary tract infection is one of the most common health care acquired infections encounter in clinical practice. The most common hospital acquired infection is catheter associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) accounting for almost 40% of all the nosocomial infections [2, 3, 5]. The most important predisposing factors of Catheter associated urinary tract infection is the insertion and prolonged use of indwelling urinary catheter, which has been performed by unsterile technique and by not taking adequate measure to maintain cleanliness of the catheter. Objective: The aim was to assess the level of nurses’ knowledge and practice regarding the prevention of catheter associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, Rajshahi. Methodology: A descriptive cross sectional study design was used and sample size 110 that was simple random sampling technique followed those who meet the inclusion criteria and to assess the nurses knowledge regarding prevention of catheter associated urinary tract infection at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, Rajshahi. The study was conducted from July 2021 to December, 2022. The instruments for data collection were a semi-structured questionnaire which composed of three parts: Demographic variables, knowledge and practice based information on prevention of catheter associated urinary tract infection. Results: The findings revealed that the highest, 67% were within 31-40 years of age, and 59% were professional education with Diploma in Nursing. This study's main findings revealed the average 47% were high level of knowledge regarding the prevention of CAUTI. It’s may due to their clinical experiences. Conclusion: Catheter associated urinary tract infections is one of the most common health care associated infections as literature said but can be prevented. According to the results of this study, some nurses have shown a good implementation of different practices towards catheter indications and CAUTI prevention. The present study concludes that a significant proportion of respondents have a high level of nurse knowledge and practice regarding the CAUTI prevention.

Background: The contraceptive method is essential in promoting maternal and child health. It improves health through adequate birth spacing, avoiding pregnancy at high-risk maternal ages, and high parity. It is often used as a synonym for birth control, however. Objective: The aim was to assess the level of Knowledge and Practice Regarding Contraceptive Methods among married couples attending at Mother and Child welfare center in Bogura. Methodology: This is a descriptive type of cross-sectional study design that was used, and a 120 sample size that was a purposive sampling technique followed by those who meet the inclusion criteria to assess the Knowledge and Practice Regarding Contraceptive Methods among married couples. The instruments for data collection were a semi-structured questionnaire and a self-report method composed of three parts: Demographic variables, knowledge, and practice-based information on Contraceptive Methods. Results: The present study's findings revealed that the majority of the 59% were within <25 years, 90% were Muslim, and 85% were housewives. Regard the knowledge revealed that the average low level regarding the use of contraceptive methods among married couples. It is expected that the study will provide a better understanding of the uses of contraceptive methods. Conclusion: This can be achieved by providing educational and motivational activities and improvement in family planning services needed to promote contraceptive methods. The present study concluded that a significant proportion of respondents have a low level of knowledge and practice regarding contraceptive methods.

Background: Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is one of the most serious infections in women. It is an inflammation and infection of the upper genital tract involving the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, and the surrounding structures. Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is a global problem, and it is common in both developed and developing countries. It can cause infertility, ectopic pregnancy, and chronic pelvic pain. Risk factors for PID are multiple sexual partners, single status, lower socioeconomic status, young age (<30 years), intrauterine contraceptive device, endometrial biopsy, curettage, hysteroscopy and hysterosalpingography, and Complications of tubal infertility, ectopic pregnancy, chronic pelvic pain. Objective: The aim was to assess the level of nurses’ knowledge and practice regarding pelvic inflammatory disease at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, Bogura. Methodology: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study with a sample size of 115 that was a purposive sampling technique followed by those who met the inclusion criteria to assess the nurse’s knowledge and practice regarding pelvic inflammatory disease. The study was conducted from July 2022 to December 2022. The instruments for data collection were a semi-structured questionnaire composed of three parts: Demographic variables, knowledge, and practice-based information on pelvic inflammatory disease. Results: The findings of the present study in socio-demographics revealed that the highest 64.35% were 31-40 years old, 88.70% were female, 93.91% were married, 93.04% were Muslim, and 61.74% had a Diploma in Nursing and the main findings of average knowledge score 40.00% were the low level of knowledge regarding the pelvic inflammatory disease. It is may not be practical experience in their existing situation. Conclusion: The worldwide increase in the incidence of PID during the last few decades has led to secondary epidemics of tubal factor infertility and ectopic pregnancy. The application of in-service education and training programs will be significant in enhancing the knowledge and self-reported practices among nurses regarding preventive measures of PID.
