The study has investigated the status of private university students in the
eye of employers. The study collected information from 16 employers who are directly
or indirectly involved in hiring process through open-ended questionnaire. Data was
analyzed to have an idea about employers’ attitude about private university students.
The result shows both positive as well as negative picture about private university
students. The study is going to contribute not only theoretically; fresh graduate will be
benefited by getting the idea of employers’ attitude toward them.

Employee performance is one of the most important variables for
organizational survive and thrive. Majority of previous studies investigated the
employee performance in business organization. However, few have investigated it in
universities. The purpose of this paper is to develop a conceptual framework of
performance of academic staff. A literature review was conducted as well as a
preliminary interview with the some academic staff. Building on the literature, this
study proposed that transformational leadership and its dimension (idealized influence,
inspirational motivation, individualized consideration, and intellectual stimulation) as
well as the organizational commitment and its dimension (affective commitment,
continuous commitment, and normative commitment) have positive effects on the
performance of academic staff. The study proposes also a mediating role of
organizational commitment between transformational leadership and performance of
academic staff. The conceptual framework was discussed and direction for future work
was highlighted.

There are 10 (ten) intervention villages studied, there are 4 villages located
in Muaro Jambi regency such as Rondang Village, Londrang, Rukan and Desa Manis
Mato. While 6 (six) villages studied and located in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency
include: Parit Culum Village, Koto Kandis Dendang, Rahayu Catur, Jati Mulyo, Rawa
Sari and Dawam Bay Village. The aim of study is to determine the condition of rural
land around Londrang peatland, the socioeconomic condition of local villagers, the
value income of the villagers associated with the Food and Non Food Poverty Line,
and the value of the Community Contingent on the basis of willingness to pay/WTP
and willingness to accept/WTA.The data of research were obtained from secondary
data collection, followed by primary data collection, visiting villagers to conduct
interviews packaged in group discussion activities and direct observation of the
socioeconomic phenomena of the villagers.Based on the results of research, it is found
that generally have the same livelihood from the agricultural sector. They are still in
the primary sector and have not moved in the secondary stage in the form of
agricultural processing activities. The economic condition of the villagers in the
villages of Tanjung Jabung Regency Timur is relatively better than the economic
condition of the villagers in Muaro Jambi Regency. The villagers researched and
located in Tanjung Timur Regency are generally transmigration residents, at the same
time villagers residing in Muaro Jambi District are local indigenous people with the
condition of natural carrying capacity or land between 2 (two) areas in regency also
different physical condition. Almost all of the studied villages above the poverty line
according to BPS criteria, except for 1 village that is Manis Mato village in Muaro
Jambi Regency is still below the poverty line. On average, all villagers still want the
value of environmental sustainability, if measured is still from the high value of
willingness to accept/WTA compared to willingness to pay/WTP.

The purposes of this research are to empirically analyse and examine the
cost recovery impact on national budget (APBN) and state shared fund (DBH).The
analysis of this research unit is on upstream of oil and gas industry which is managed
by the Indonesian government with Production Sharing Contract for 44 companies.
The population of this research comprises operators of Production Sharing Contract
and the body of government that manages oil & gas or that is called “SKKMIGAS”
consisting of 62 persons of manager level, 51 professionals, and 18 researchers from a
university. The researcher also uses secondary data obtained from “SKKMIGAS” in
1984 to 2014 documents. The results of this research indicate the variable which has
big impact on state shared fund is recovery cost, and the variable which does not have
any impact on national budget is recovery cost.

This research is purposed to find out the influence of job satisfaction,
employee engagement and organizational citizenship behaviour and its impact on
turnover intention. Type of quantitative research with survey method. The population
of all employees of PT. Iwaindo Internasional is 100 employees, non-probability
sampling technique with a Saturated sample. The data analysis technique used is
Multiple Regression. The results showed that job satisfaction had the significant effect
on turnover intention, employee engagement had the significant effect on turnover
intention, and organizational citizenship behaviour significantly influenced turnover
intention. The simultaneous test (F test) shows job satisfaction, employee engagement,
and organizational citizenship behaviour together have significant effect on turnover
intention at PT. Iwaindo Internasional.

The purpose of this paper is to conduct tracing study for students of
certification competency exam at Ministry of Communication and Informatics
Indonesia. The proposal is based on the concept of college and career readiness in
Boston which was used to assess the factors of careers after students taking
competency exam for framing the tracing study of certification competency exam in
Ministry of Communication and Informatics Indonesia. Majority respondents use the
certificate to apply for job vacancy. This is good result, means that the objective of
Ministry of Communication and Information to facilitate young workers to get job
from this competency exam do satisfied the objectives. The factors identified for not
applying jobs are: still finishing study, already working, and taking entrepreneurship
path. and are still asking support from their parents. Those who are working in banks,
schools, government institutions and private companies, others say they are going to
try to propose again, and are going to continue their education before attempting to get
job again. Interestingly, there are some respondents are willing to take
entrepreneurship instead of continuing their effort to get a job. This means that
entrepreneurship is attractive for them.

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of service quality,
customer relationship, and customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty in PT
Prudential Life Assurance. Adapataata used is the data of the 10 largest insurance in
Indonesia during the last 3 years (January 2014 - December 2016). The research
method used is quantitative. For sampling using Slovin formula. From population of
133 consumers of PT Prudential Life Assurance in Best One Agency Jakarta, 100
consumers met this criterion as a sample. The analytical tools used is multiple linear
regression. The results showed service quality, customer relationship, and customerr
satisfaction simultaneously (simultaneously) affect customer loyalty. Partially, service
quality, customer relationship, and customer satisfaction have a significant positive
effect on customer loyalty. And of the three variables diguanakan, customer
satisfaction that has the most influence on customer loyalty.

Impact of Economic Growth and Access to Safe Drinking Water on Life Expectancy in Nigeria: Bound Test Approach

This study empirically examines the impact of economic growth and access
to safe drinking water on life expectancy in Nigeria using Autoregressive Distributive
Lag (ARDL) model as tool of analysis for the period 1980 - 2014. The result of this
study indicates that economic growth and access to safe drinking water exert positive
and statistically significant impact on life expectancy at birth. Consequently, upon the
findings of this study, a number of recommendations are given which include: the
need for the governments to intensify its existing policies in order to maintain
inclusive economic growth that would increase employment generation and reduce
poverty for better life expectancy. Moreover, there is also need for governments, Nongovernmental organizations, international development partners and philanthropists to
intervene in improving access to safe and portable drinking water in both rural and
urban areas through construction of boreholes, pipe water, public taps or standpipes,
tube wells, protected dug wells, protected springs, and rainwater collection reservoirs.

This paper discussed on small and medium scale industries pathway to
Nigeria economic development. It also point out the problems facing the
entrepreneurship development of Nigeria economy. It also examines the importance
of entrepreneurship in Nigeria. The methodology adopted was systematic review
method. It also found that entrepreneurship can enhance economic development in
Nigeria primarily by generating employment opportunity. The study also revealed that
initiatives by government failed because of over bearing bureaucracies, corruption,
inadequate and inefficient infrastructure facilities, financial backup and
maladministration. The paper also recommended that government and banks should
recognize the important entrepreneurship to her economic development growth by
providing the enabling environment for small and medium scale industry to develop.
Specifically, government should provide infrastructural facilities (electricity, road
network, and communication). It is also recommended that government should reactivate all the institutions established to promote small and medium scale industries
in Nigeria.

This study intends to examine the relationship and impact between servant
leadership and organizational commitment in the context of bank employees.
Moreover, it intends to discover the differences between bank employees who are
working in the local and foreign banks in the Northern Region of Malaysia.
Questionnaires had been distributed among bankers in local and foreign banks in the
states of the Northern States of Malaysia, namely Penang, Perak, and Kedah. Almost
300 questionnaires were distributed. This paper adapted servant leadership instrument
from Van Dierendonck and Nuijten. Furthermore, the organizational commitment had
been adopted from Meyer and Allen. The study provide a better understanding of the
right leadership in fostering employees commitment, improve the leader-follower
relationship and allow more leaders to realize the benefits of using servant leadership
in increasing their relationship with their subordinates, influencing the subordinates’
positive job behavior as well as increasing their subordinates’ satisfaction and
commitment with their job, department, and organization. Furthermore, this study
urges the human resource department to conduct proper leadership training to their
employees to promote new ideas toward servant leadership to improve the leadership
skills among bank employees that may lead to rising up their organizational
commitment.

Framework for Exploring the Relationship between the Moderating Effects of Organizational Culture on TQM Implementation and Organizational Performances

In this paper, a framework for exploring the relationship between the
moderating effects of organizational culture on TQM implementation and
organizational performances was proposed and investigated using Alrahila Oil
Services Company, Libya, as a case company. The study, which provides a whole new
approach to the investigation of the relationship of variables, used qualitative and
quantitative survey methods and the PLS program for its evaluation. The study
showed a great potential for ensuring the survival and growth of Alrahila Oil Services
Company, Libya, as well as other oil serving companies in Libya. The results of the
study provided a substantial knowledge and scientific addition to this field as it
established the moderating effects of organizational culture on the different TQM
critical elements, as well as on the overall company’s performances.
Training/educational development and continuous improvement (Hypothesis 3 and 5)
as TQM parameters showed insignificant and negative influences on the relationship
between different TQM critical elements and the overall company’s performance.

This paper proposed a framework to establish the relationship between the
implementation of TQM success factors and the organizational performance measures,
using the role organizational culture plays as a moderating variable in the oil and gas
industrial sector in Libya. The study which is the first step in providing a base for the
empirical study of the moderating effect of culture in the Libya oil and gas industry
has put forward some key success factors for TQM implementation with special
consideration of the operational culture in the oil distribution sector in the Libya oil
and gas industry. Thus, the study focused on those critical factors that can easily and
positively affect the organizational performance. Having proved by previous TQM
researchers how organizational culture and practices significantly influence the overall
organizational goal and performance, if adopted and implemented with sincerity, this
study will help Libya’s Oil and Gas Sector to improve its competitiveness among
firms, quality of products and services, and a standard customer expectation.

This paper takes Wal-mart which is the leader of Fortune Global 500 as an
example, analyzing its product, place, price and promotion, pointing out a series of
marketing problems War-mart has faced within the Chinese market and offering some
solutions. The marketing strategies of War-mart both in China and overseas have
provided significant references to Chinese retailing companies. Chinese retailing
companies should learn War-mart’s successful experience during its localization in
China and avoid similar mistakes, and then convert what they have learned into their
own strengths and advantages.

SMEs are recognized as a most effective mechanism to push economic and
social development. Their role becomes more important in Saudi economy which is in
the diversification stage in an attempt to reduce KSA dependence on oil and to realize
the Vision 2030. The government has established various institutions and working
along with private sector to offer SMEs financial, technical and training support aimed
at development of entrepreneurship. In this paper an attempt has been made to
examine the status of SMEs and to identify & study the activities of the institutions
extending financial and non-financial support to SMEs. The researcher has examined
thirteen main institutions which are playing an important role in providing support in
the areas of technology, marketing, financing, training, incubators, consultancy and
policy & incentives. Finally suggestions have been extended for further improvement
in order to capitalize the opportunities resulting in development and growth of
entrepreneurship.
