Ever since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, numerous studies have shown up investigating the negative ramifications of this crisis for university students, who are considered to be a vulnerable population. So far, however, the positive consequences of the pandemic for university students as well as how the crisis may have impacted young people’s resilience have not been explored. Unlike previously published research on the topic, this small case study attempted to explore any university students’ views regarding how the Covid-19 pandemic affected them and how they tried to mitigate the pandemic’s effects. To allow participants to freely express themselves, their written texts about the topic were used as a research tool, whereas qualitative content analysis was used as a research method. Eighty-seven undergraduate students took part voluntarily in the research. Findings indicated that the pandemic has greatly and negatively affected the students’ emotional, psychological, and mental state, who experienced mainly fear and anxiety. At the same time, however, they received valuable lessons for life, realizing that nothing is a given and that they must live life to the fullest. In parallel with experiencing the alienation from their social environment and their psychological fatigue; the participants, due to their isolation, turned to themselves, revised things, and evolved personally, increasing also their resilience to difficult conditions. Although the students did not mention extensively to have employed coping strategies, those strategies mentioned were constructive. The research findings are discussed in terms of their implications regarding students’ support in the educational process and generally their support by universities after the health crisis.

This study empirically examines and attempt to comprehend parental communication with adolescent girls regarding reproductive health. It investigates the communication barriers from the parent's perspective. The research was undertaken in two taluks of the Ballari District, such as Sandur and Hospet. To accomplish the objectives of the study, a descriptive research design was chosen. The data was collected from 260 parents utilizing the Interview schedule and a random selection technique. The study results indicate that the average age of the parents was 33.20 years. It was discovered that the parents' age and degree of education affect reproductive health communication with adolescent girls. The association between Communicational obstacles and education has been ascertained using the Chi-square test.

Physical and chemical techniques have gained special interest for discovery of novel materials, nanoparticles characterization, crystals and metallic based characterization and semiconductor based materials. Nanotechnology has made tremendous advances and infinitely divisible into smaller pieces, or composed of small, indivisible and indestructible particles in the form atoms. Different approaches have used for designing of nanoparticles. Physical and chemical methods have been used for the synthesis of nanoparticles, although, some of them needed more advances for high quality and biodegradable materials to meet the industrial demands. Carbon and silica based nanoparticles can be designed in order to improve the rubber properties , while on the other hand, carbon based nanoparticles can be used for improving the polymers to increase their strength and impact resistance. Semiconductor quantum dots also made revolutionary advances for replacing the toxic materials employed. Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy is the most important type of spectroscopy that helpful for industrial promotions of magnetic nanoparticles. High-performance liquid chromatography is the most important technique used in physics and chemistry in components in the given sample can be identifying easily within short period of time. Different nanoparticles can be easily accessed through Powder X-ray diffraction. One of the examples is silver nanoparticles. Crystallization is one of the most important process for solidification of atoms or molecules in such a way that they get shape the crystal.

This study develops a competency model for the HR Department of PT TCO and measures the competence of incumbents to determine employee competency profiles to identify competency gaps. The designing process of the competency model used the Behavioral Event Interview (BEI) technique to find out the critical of each job description. Competency measurement is carried out using behavioral indicators that have been compiled in the competency model. The rating scale method using a multi-rater was chosen to measure incumbents' competence. From the formulation of the competency model, four (4) core competencies, fifty-three (53) behavioral competencies, and 130 technical competencies were obtained. The competency level standards can apply to anyone holding the relevant position if the job description does not change. In addition, it is also obtained an overview of the same job cluster; different levels of positions tend to have the same competency model but different levels of competency standards. The results of the preparation of the competency model above; the company is recommended to implement the same process in other departments or divisions so that a comprehensive competency model can be arranged for all positions in PT TCO. The company is also expected to constantly update job descriptions linked to the entire series of competency models and explicitly carry out core competencies, especially by top management, so that they can be seen by all employees, even at the grassroots level.

Corruption is a form of fraud/fraud, which is a dishonest act that is carried out intentionally by using power for self-interest against state financial transactions that result in loss of state money. Various efforts have been made by the Indonesian government to combat and eradicate all forms of corruption in Indonesia but so far have not yielded significant results. This article aims to determine the main factors that influence an act of corruption. There are many factors that influence acts of corruption, but the discussion in this article is limited to the main factors that are seen by the authors as the dominant factors influencing acts of corruption, including power, governance, and compensation. This article reviews the factors that influence acts of corruption (y) as the dependent variable, and the independent variables which include: power (x1), governance (x2) and compensation (x3) as independent variables. The purpose of writing this article is to build a hypothesis of the influence between variables to be used in further research. The results of the literature review articles that we have done show that there is an influence of the power variable (x1) on the corruption variable (y), the influence of the governance variable (x2) on the variable corruption act (y), and the influence of the compensation variable (x3). on the variable of corruption (y).
