Abstract
Visceral leishmaniasis may be considered as a rare opportunistic infection in adult with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. We report the second case in the world and the first one in Morocco. It is about a 70-year-old patient, with chronic lymphocytic leukemia treated with chemotherapy. He presented fever, splenomegaly and axillary adenopathy. The blood count showed persistent pancytopenia. The bone marrow aspiration showed the presence of Leishman’s bodies. The patient was lost to follow-up.
