Abstract
Successful endodontic treatment depends on thorough knowledge in root canal morphology, appropriate assessment of pulp chamber floor, critical interpretation of radiograph, and on biomechanical preparation followed by three dimensional obturation of root canal system. The possibility of additional root /canal should be considered even in teeth a low frequency of abnormal root canal anatomy. Mandibular premolars have earned the reputation for having aberrant anatomy. This article reports and discusses the successful endodontic management of mandibular second premolar with one canal is bifurcating into two canals.
