This research investigates the impact of the global financial crisis on the performance of Nigerian stock market from 2004 to 2013. The main aim of the research was to examine the impact of global financial crisis on the performance of the N.S.E. Data for this research was sourced from a secondary source. The data were statistically analyzed using descriptive analysis and Kruskal-Wallis H test statistical tools. The analysis showed that Global Financial Crisis has no significant effect on Market Capitalization, value and volume of shares traded on the floor of the N.S.E. From the analysis, the researcher concludes that Global Financial Crisis has no significant effect on market capitalization, value of shares traded and the volume of shares traded in Nigerian stock exchange.
