It encompasses not only the delivery of clinical care but also the creation of a patient safety culture within healthcare organizations. Patient safety culture refers to the collective attitudes, behaviors, reporting, auditing, values, and beliefs that influence safety-related practices in healthcare institutions [1]. A strong safety culture is crucial because it shapes how healthcare professionals approach safety, address potential hazards, and collaborate in preventing errors. This literature review explores recent developments in the implementation of patient safety culture within the healthcare system in Saudi, highlighting successful strategies, challenges encountered, and gaps in existing research.
