The utilization of botanicals has gained more significance because of its natural origin and high therapeutic significance. The plant Nicker Bean botanical known as Caesalpinia bonducella has been used in diverse system of traditional medication for the treatment of diseases and ailments of human beings. The Plant has been reported as anti-asthmatic, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial, anti-filarial, anti-tumor, immunomodulatory, hypoglycemic, activity. The work deals with preliminary Pharmacognostical studies of Caesalpinia bonducella seed, further seed extracts (ethanolic and aqueous) were evaluated for radical scavenging activity

Ageing is a natural phenomenon that is experienced by all living organisms. Healthy geriatric population makes major contribution to the health and development of the country. Musculoskeletal pain is a major health problem among geriatric population according to the survey under taken in both developing and developed countries. Knee and low back pain are the most frequent complaints among this population. Most of the geriatric population is troubled by chronic knee pain that has a main effect on their quality of life. The objectives of the study is to assess the pre and post-test level of pain on elderly client with knee joint pain, to determine the effectiveness of Calotropis gigantea and infrared therapy on knee joint pain among elderly people and to associate between the post-test level pain on intervention for knee joint pain among elderly client. 25 samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. Demographic variables was collected by interview method followed by assessed the level of knee joint pain among elderly people. The data was analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result shows that there is a positive result of Calotropis gigantea and infrared rays for knee joint pain among elderly people.

Peptic ulcer is a frequent disease of the Gastro Intestinal tract. It is mostly an inflamed break in the skin or the mucus membrane lining the alimentary tract. When there is a disturbance of the normal equilibrium caused by either enhanced aggression or diminished mucosal resistance ulceration occurs. Divergent to trendy belief, ulcer is not caused by spicy food but instead is most usually due to either an infection or long term use of medications. A combination of drugs like antibiotics and proton pump inhibitors is standard treatment of the peptic ulcer. However these drugs are expensive and are probable to produce more side effects when compared to herbal medicines Nevertheless, many studies revealed that Botanicals and their phytoceuticals can efficiently treat peptic ulcer in humans and a range of animal models. In the present review, attempts have been made to recognize about some of the common Indian medicinal plants which may be used in treatment or prevention of peptic ulcers.

Concept of Hair Problems and its Treatment in Ayurveda
Hair plays a vital role in enhancing the personality of a human. As the hair is the first noticeable part of beauty for women as well as men. The scalp and hair conditions also have more psychological impact on human societies. Even minor changes in hairs like greying of hair, early hair fall affect the self-confidence and self-esteem of an individual. Acharya Charka considered Hair as Mala (Waste product) of Asthi Dhatu (Bone), while Sharngdhara thinks it as a Updhathu (tissue) of Asthi. Various Ayurvedic Jagran is described in different Classics for the disease of Hairs like Khalitya (Hair loss), Palitya (Premature Greying of Hairs) Indralupta (Alopecia areata) and Darunaka (Dandruff) etc. Like other disorders of body disbalance of Vatta, Pitta and Kapha are also involves in the aetiopathogenesis. Keshya (Hair tonic) Keshya-Samjanana (Hair revitalizer) and Keshya-Ranjana (Natural hair restoring agent) are used to treat hair fall and pre-mature greying of hair. The greying of hair and wrinkle on the face are the two important cardinal features of aging. Classical Ayurvedic Chikitsasutra (treatment guideline) advocated the Poshana (nourishment) of Dhatu for the normal growth of Updhatu and Mala. Similarly, the treatment of Mula (Origin) of Srotas (micro and marco channels of body) is also considered in the treatment. Indian Gooseberry, false Daisy, true indigo, iron-containing compounds and other herbs are used as Rasayana (rejuvenator), Panchkarama, Snehana and Vasti Chikitsa to treat hair disorders.
